The Varenne is the House’s most recent handbag - the hallmark of sophisticated and elegant allure. Everything about it requires the best in leather-crafting know-how at the atelier where it is made, just a few kilometres outside of Florence, Italy. Invariably, the selection process follows the same ritual: touching, feeling, examining, observing and scrutinizing every centimetre. The handles are meticulously hand-mounted, just as the rest of the bag is hand-assembled using a wooden form made-to-measure to its exact proportions. Elements in gold metal then adorn the bag: buckles, rivets and logo spelling out the name ‘Jimmy Choo’ have been revisited in a contemporary version. Each detail, as small as it may be, contributes to the beauty of the whole.
